Develop direct sales to all relevant channels;... sales manager africa (m/f) for network power energy storage solutions is a global player in energy storage solutions with a strong focus on energy efficiency the company has more than 120 years of experience in developing state-of-the-art batteries for the automotive sector as well as for industrial applications leading oem and systems integrators trust in as an original equipment supplier and its commitment to excellence in manufacturing also serves the aftermarket through different channels the network power division offers a comprehensive range of energy storage solutions for telecommunication commercial infrastructure power generation and distribution railway oil and gas emergency and security systems renewable energy management and many other applications where power is critical   we are looking for a sales manager responsible for the further development of our network power business in africa acquiring new projects broadening the customer base and serving the aftermarket responsibility: territory sales representative for industrial energy storage solutions related equipment and services develop strategy to grow profitably the network power market position and revenue in africa develop direct sales to all relevant channels inside africa (oem epc system integrators distributors engineering consultants service companies and end users) prospecting new accounts and growing business with existing accounts overview indirect sales opportunities to africa that are served through european distribution channels and coordinate the commercial activities with 's european sales teams as required elaborate quotations and agreements with customers in africa with responsibility for pricing commercial terms-of-sale and margins responsible for meeting sales and service goals as assigned by emea sales management customer contact including personal visits as required and other forms of follow-up training of customers' personnel regarding battery sales technical information and programs trade show coordination and presentations as required market insight and information retrieval as required to having an up-to-date and comprehensive view on the african industrial batteries market the main potentials competitors and projects sales call reporting budget planning and other administration as foreseen for sales teams work closely with customer service and other departments to optimize customer satisfaction and resolve eventual problems insure compliance with all policies and procedures other duties as assigned to perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each of these duties satisfactorily   required skills / qualifications: minimum of 3 years' successful experience in selling capital goods in a b2b environment with a quantifiable history of meeting and exceeding territory sales goals proficient in both english and ideally also french -
